The Silk Scarf

1.Setting

Place:Oriental Plaza,Johannesburg

2.Plot

The story is about Mrs Nebo who was a  wife  of an important official of the African  Front,Her husband Clive Nebo who was to be choosen to be Foreign Affairs minister in the new government that was to be formed after the apartheid era.

She went to Oriental Plaza for shooping together with the two escorts and her friend Margaret.There were many Shops at the Plaza namely,jewellers,habedashers,outfitters,shop selling curtains,textiles,oriental garments,banks,restaurants and hawkers.Mrs Nebo and Margaret bought jewellery and swimming costumes.She than went into shop were she bought  a lovely Indian dress.

They continued shooping while two bodyguards dressed in navy blue suits and colourful ties followed them.She went into another shop after paying for the garment and she began  look for a"silk scarf"for her dress.She find it,when she looked into her pocket to take some cash to pay  for the  scarf it was not sufficient at all,she then told the shopkeeper that she will pay with a cheque and the shopkeeper  Mr Sakur disagreed.The shopkeepers decided to buy a "silk scarf" and gave it to Mrs Nebo as a gift to avoid being evicted from the Plaza.

3.Main Character

-A short gaunt-looking man

-He treat all his customers equally

1.It was so terrible! at first as i got no idea of what is a blog.
2.The process was abit long and slow
3.The pages loading was too slow and taking too long to open.
4.I was struggeling to choose a template.
5.I enjoyed editing ma profile ,it was straight foward.
6.Finally I managed to create  my blog .
7.I am enjoying it now,I can chat to ma friend with whom am connected too.

2.Summary-The story focuses more on Jerry who was an English boy and eleven years old.He was a good swimmer and enjoy swimming most of the time.He like his mother[widow] because she likes her too.He likes meeting new people and try to the best of his ability to make friends with them.It occurs in the story when he met with big brown boys ,he try to make friends with them by being kind to them.Although it was too difficult for him to swim well at the beginning,at the end he managed  to be able to swim for quite a long time without covering his nose.He does not lose hope whenever he fail/did not succeed .He keep on trying until he got the solution.He keep on training himself until he became a good swimmer.

Jerry was having a good relationship with his mother and loves her alot because she was supporting him in order to overcome all the obstacles he was facing when he was learning how to swim.She bought him googles that Jerry can use to cover his eyes when he is diving.Jerry likes being at the beach and its were he actually spend most of his time swimming and it was his hobby.


3.Main Character:
